Stunning Modern Tiny House in Queensland
Stunningly constructed and packed full of brilliant small space design ideas, this modern tiny house on wheels situated in Queensland, Australia is definitely one that you’re going to want to check out!
Amy and Greg discovered the tiny house movement online and quickly fell in love with the idea of building their own tiny home. They were attracted to the simplicity of the tiny house lifestyle and also the financial freedom which tiny house living could offer, the idea of not being tied to a job and the ability to free up both money and time to focus on things which are truly important to the couple.
This beautiful modern tiny house is a well designed, functional home for Greg, Amy and their two children who live with the couple part time and have their own sleeping loft in the tiny house. The design of the home was largely focused around a large bifold window which is situated in the center of the home above the kitchen bench and connects the home to the outdoor living area. Within the homes walls are everything the family needs. There’s a large living area with storage couch which folds out into a bed for guests, or when the family want to sit, relax and watch movies together. The fully-featured kitchen has lots of room for prep area and the bathroom is a a great size allowing for a full shower and even a washing machine. The stairs, which lead up to the couples sleeping loft are cleverly designed and are packed full of storage.
The tiny home on wheels is currently parked up on a beautiful, rural property in Queensland, where Amy and Greg have enough land for some vegetable gardens and even chickens. Their parking spot is private, quiet and allows the home to be wonderfully situated amongst nature. To capitalise on this, a wonderful deck and outdoor living area has been added to the home, providing brilliant indoor-outdoor flow and also increasing the homes living area.
