Idyllic Farm Transformed Into Luxury Glamping Getaway

In this weeks episode we travel to an idyllic farm in the Taranaki region of New Zealand to meet Donna, who has transformed a corner of her property into a stunning Airbnb glamping retreat. She created this retreat as a way of being able to earn some additional income for her family while at the same time staying home with her two young children. 

For some of you, this gmalping set-up might look familiar! Indeed this tent and the platform surrounding it is modelled off of my own glamping tent where I lived for a short time a few years ago. Being able to stay here for a while certainly brought back some wonderful memories for me! 

Donna has poured so much love and attention into creating a magical experience for her guests. The tent itself has been beautifully decorated, and it’s also supported by a fully featured ablution block, with kitchen, bathroom and even a luxurious outdoor hot tub. 

Located directly by the river where you can hear the gentle sounds of the rushing water at night, this place really is a magical place to escape. We hope you enjoy the full video tour!
